Two Balloon Sea Turtle
I made this sea turtle as I was recording the video. I knew how to make a much bigger turtle, but it was too complicated for beginners. This is the scaled down version. It came out much better than I had hoped. I like turtles.

Your site is awesome - I learnt a few basic twists last weekend, so I went and bought some balloons.
So far your videos have helped me learn a much better giraffe than the one I first learnt and the two balloon flower.
Hopefully I'll be able to work out the turtle although I have trouble seeing what you're doing when you go fast :-)
Thanks again for a great site.
Pete
it would be nice if you slowed down a little bit i still cant get some of the twists down
I'll try to slow down in the future, I was just trying to fit it all in. The videos have a size limitation, so I have to talk fast to make them fit.
I just start breaking the videos into parts.
:)
i like how fast you go. it helps me practice my speed, and there's always a pause button and rewind if i miss something.
People calm down he knows from previous post that he should slow down so dont re post the same thing over and over again. Plus theres a thing called a pause button please use it. Your awesome at your balloon animals continue to make more :) thanks.
What does he say at 2:12/2:11 "make another small bubble and ..." i cant make it out at all

Really nice sculpture!
Are you planning to record the video of the bigger turtle?
flower petal.... two small bubbles..twist those in.. small bubble... and then i lost ya. i cant figure where that bubble goes!
I think The turtle shell would look better if you added one more segment to the shell. not another pinch twist but another longer piece rolled through the two sides of the shell. It would give it a domed appearance. Also i too was confused with the front legsthe first flipper was OK but after the mouth and eyes its confusing

I like the speed, pause if you need to. I have had to go back, replay and pause on lots of videos. Keep practicing and you will get faster and better. I have LOTS of experience (like 30 years!) and I know the twists, but Michael adds lots of new ideas and I love the whole thing. If you see a modification that might look good....DO IT! heck, make changes that make sense. There are NO RULES to balloon twisting!
Papa mark
make the bigger turtle next time
