hey folks Rob here.
just wondering about balloon toys or put differently a balloon that does something.
im always doing what i know to be the twister a clear balloon with a marble inside twisted with a different colored balloon and the ball rolls up and down.
once i start with twisters i need to be ready cause then everybody wants one.
a small amount of rice inside a 260 twisted with another balloon makes a lovely sound as the kids shake it. i call that a rain stick or a magic fairy wand but the sound element is awesome whatever you call it.
or use 1 fully inflated 260 folded in half pinch twist then twist both end to get a mini spiral that when thrown is a torpedo or missile lads love these
i do the basket ball and hoop for parties but not line work.
i love balloons that kids want to play with not just hold but i want my line work to be as impressive and as entertaining as my shows.
so anybody got any other ideas maybe something you do that goes down well with the little ones
lets be creative
thanks rob

Here are some games http://www.balloon-animals.com/forum/index.php?topic=484.0
You van make impressive games by putting something in a clear 260 and let it shoot trough a hoop or goal or whatever. Like the baseball player hat Sean made.
I can't find it at the moment, maybe someone else remembers where it was?

Hi Starboy, welcome to the forum. Maybe a short intro at the introductions section?
I like the guitar!

Here's a baseball game we played with at my house this morning. It was a lot of fun.

The bat was taught to me by Jungle Jim and the ball outline is from Balloon Magic #44 a Todd Neufield Design.

The ball in the magazine is made from a single 260. After I made it, I put a superball into a 5" round, tucked the uninflated round into the cavity of the ball and inflated it as much as I could. The superball gives the ball enough weight to be tossed around and makes the ball wobble when it's rolled. It's fun just by itself.

Add the 646 bat and let the good times roll.

Sean, the ball, are the bubbles about 3 inch? I know (never done it) that you can weave a ball with a 5 bubble square, this is a 3 bubble triangle I guess.

My favorite toy (and one of my most popular designs) also uses clear 260's with a ball inside.  Here's how it works.  First you need two small balls (you can make these out of another 260 of your own color choice.  it is best to make the balls two different colors).  Then you insert the balls into two separate clear 260's and swirl the clear balloons around each other. The toy is complete.  Just turn it like an hourglass and the two balls will race to the bottom.
If you need instructions on how to make a good ball out of a 260 or how to insert them into another balloon, I will try to post a vid tutorial on my youtube.

Have fun!

The bubbles are 2"-3" each.

There is also a balloon noise maker I call a "noisy cricket"

I also just saw a balloon "Dart" that can be thrown pretty long distances as well.

I believe Paul Bellanger invented/implemented them a while ago in some of his shows... So, you might want to check some of his DVDs.
